I have
attached a picture of my dog, Sam. He is a pomeranian/terrier
mix with a great personality! He turned five years old this year and
lives in Atlanta. I wanted a "lap" dog and boy did I get
one. He was the runt of the litter with only one brother left when we
got him. He has turned out to be such a wonderful pet. This is a
picture of him, in his Halloween mask ready to ask, "Trick or
Treat?"
Okay, what can I say. I love my dog and he loves me - any animal that
would stand still for me to dress him up like this, has gotta love
him Momma!! He is a very personable dog and loves everyone,
especially me. This picture is one of his many "outfits" he
has modeled for me to get a picture. He is very tolerant of me
dressing him up and loves the attention; of course he doesn't lack
for any!
His favorite pastime is being my "lap" dog. He loves to be
right next to me. He sleeps right next to me, nestled into the small
of my back (back to back) so he can touch me while he sleeps. The one
drawback he has is snoring! I housebroke Sam by tying jingle bells
into a string and hanging next to the door (not on) he used to go
potty. Each time I would take him out, I would take his paw and we
would ring the bells so he would associate the sound with going to
the potty. It didn't take long before he would go to the door and
slap the bells then watch for me to come and let him out. He is still
doing that to this day, although now I can judge about when he needs
to go, but not always. So he always has his backup and I can hear
him.
His favorite song is the theme from the "Andy Griffith
Show." This is the only song he will "sing solo" on
for all to hear no matter when it is on. He will wake up from
sleeping and sing a solo for us.
Currently he is in a
Halloween contest that
ends October 31. Be sure to check him out and click on his picture if
you would like to vote for him. I know he would appreciate it; I
would also!!!
