This
is our dog Buddha. Buddha is two years old and has been
part of the family for his whole life. What makes him special?? Well
my wife and I were trying to have children for a few years with no
luck. After enduring enough stress and heart ache we decided that a
dog would be a nice treat to come to. (We both grew up with dogs and
knew of all the responsibility.) We drove 70 miles in a snow storm
(God's honest truth) and picked out Buddha because of his playful
disposition and his unusually long tongue, which hangs out of his
mouth all the time. A month after having Buddha in our family we got
pregnant!!!! No doctors or medicine, just the "stress relief" of
Buddha. Buddha and Nicholas are now best friends and enjoy playing
together all the time as you can see!!!
Buddha and Nicholas are best of friends and Buddha has taught Nicholas a
respect for animals that we think is very important. The only problem is that
Buddha is now a bit overweight because Nicholas also believes in sharing his
food with him!
