Mike
is a loving companion which replaced another black &
white beagle who died on a Sunday night with heartworms. We said
that we would not get another pet. However, we missed her so
greatly we decided that, with no children now living at home, we
needed another pet to give our love and attention to.
One bright afternoon the chairman of our deacons came to
visit us with a six-week-old puppy (Mike) under his arm as a gift to
us. We fell in love with Mike and he has been a great comfort and
blessing to our house. He has learned to do several tricks. His
favorite thing to do is to play with his ball. He does this for
hours at a time until he becomes exhausted. He even sleeps with his
ball, as a child would with a blanket.
Almost every afternoon at 4:30 P.M. Mike and his master watch
WishBone on TV.
