Chester
is 3-1/2 years old. We got him from the local Labrador rescue league.
He had been beaten and starved by his first owner when we came along. He was
just a year old and his cowed attitude was enough to break your heart.
After about four weeks, Chester realized he had gone to heaven without dying,
and has been getting more sure of himself every day since. Matter of fact, sometimes
he is a little too sure of himself - but then, I figure he is entitled! He loves lobster
and mexican tacos and the Snausages treats. Here he is shown with his checkered flag
neckerchief in our motohome at the Long Beach Grand Prix this April.
