Moose
is eleven years old. He is a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd
mix. Moose is one of the best mannered dogs I've met. He is the
worldly old man of Pinedale, Wyoming. But he certainly hasn't slowed
down one bit. He loves to go backpacking with his family. On one
recent thirty-mile backpacking trip (at 11,000 feet in elevation), he
hiked sixteen miles in one day without complaining. Even at eleven
years old, he is still learning.... he recently found out all about
porcupines.
