My
pet's name is Dodger. He is a two-year-old German Shepherd Dog and
he lives in Milford, Connecticut. Dodger came to our family
approximately a year ago when we rescued him from Adopt a Dog
foundation. At first, Dodger was thin, had bad skin and was very
possessive of food and toys. But, over the first few months with
great love and care and companionship from myself, my boyfriend, my
other dog (Tess) and my two cats, Dodger became a healthy happy
member of our family. He fell in love with my boyfriend and they have
been inseparable since. We take him for long walks and play tug of
war and chase with him every night. We could not think of a day going
by without Dodger there to greet us and beg us to play or to give him
a quick pat on the head.
