Max
is our "little guy," an eight-pound cock-a-poo. He
holds a special place in our hearts, and we can't imagine what it
would be like not having him around. Although he shares our home with
our other dog Sam and three cats, I think Max would have preferred to
be an "only child." We love the way he looks at us whenever
his name is mentioned, with his head tilting back and forth waiting
for those magical words "play, outside, and get your toy."
These words will send him spinning around with delight.
He loves playing fetch and running around the yard as fast as his
little legs will carry him. He loves sitting on daddy's lap at the
computer, loves cuddling on the couch next to mommy, and loves
sitting on anyone's lap at the kitchen table. He sleeps at the head
of the bed and will only allow Sam the area down at the foot of the
bed. Since Max was here first, he thinks he's the boss. Yes, we
think Max is special because he has made us smile every day for
almost nine years now, and no matter how old he gets he will always
be "our puppy." He's an intelligent "little
fellow" with lots of love to give.
