This
is AJ. People tell me that he is an Australian Shepherd mix and
I'll take their word for it. He used to keep us all in a group, but I
think he's given up on that. He's twelve years old and I was fortunate to
come across him on the 4th of July 1987. The people who had him were
going to turn him loose in Troy, New York and I couldn't see that. AJ
is a wonderful friend and I wouldn't know what to do without him. He
is very intelligent and has absolutely no bad habits. I have had
quite a few fine dogs in my life, but AJ is the best. I'm glad that
we were both in the right place at the right time on that day. He has
been, and is today, a joy. His joy when I come home is only exceeded
by his sorrow when I leave him.
