Mattie
lives in Mullins, South Carolina. She was rescued from the
pound and was very shy and scared. Most of the few months of her very
special life, were spent in a very non-loving environment. The first
week at her new home, she stayed on the couch and did not know how to
respond to affection. Three months later, she is in full motion, with
a tail that wags constantly (even when you scold her for being bad)
and one of the most vocal dogs I have ever encountered. She has
brought a lot of laughter into our lives, and has given our cocker
spaniel a friendly playmate. So here's to you, Mattie, for overcoming
a bad beginning, and for making our lives more interesting.
