In
July of 1982, my husband and I added nine-week-old Arlo to our
family, which already included four small, mixed-breed dogs. Although
he was the youngest, Arlo quickly became top dog. Now Arlo is the
oldest of four, but he still is top dog, and I'm sure he will remain
so the rest of his life.
Arlo has always been a feisty, loving, bright little guy with
tremendous presence and dignity, a great companion and friend. Of all
the dogs I've had and loved, he is the first one who has felt like a
"soul mate." Arlo is a dear, precious being, and we feel
most fortunate to have had him in our lives for so many wonderful
