I
know that since the movie "101 Dalmatians" came out the
other year, everyone thought Dalmatians would make wonderful pets.
Well, in our case, they are the best! We have two of the greatest
Dalmatians that were created.
Chief had to be put down last year at the ripe old age of fourteen. She was
just the greatest Dalmatian ever. All her spots, and she had lots and
lots of them, must have all been filled with love. She had a spot
that looked like a heart and one that looked like the famous Mickey
Mouse ears. Chief was the friendliest and kindest dog around. She is
greatly missed.
Abby is a very large 80-pound Dalmatian and her very best friend is
our four year old daughter, Katie. When Katie is sent to her room for
a time out her best friend Abby goes with her. In turn, when Abby is
sent to Katie's room, Katie goes with her too. What friends they are.
I know that Dalmatians aren't for everyone, and not all Dalmatians
are great with kids, but we know our Dalmatians were two of the best
spots around!
