My
husband and I were extremely fortunate to have found Emmy Lou
while on a trip. We had stopped for dinner one night in a very rural
area outside of Savannah, Georgia. Outside of this restaurant was
this adorable dog just begging for attention. The waitresses told us
that someone had dumped her off there the day before and they had
been feeding her fried fish from the restaurant. We left our name,
number and address with them and off we went into the night with this
dog to live with our other two purebred dogs in Florida. That was
eight years ago. Emmy Lou is a true gift and the best companion a
person could have. It just goes to show you that sometimes mixed
breed dogs are the best. She now lives with a very large iguana, two
chinchillas, a forest chameleon and a water dragon but she's No. 1
and she knows it!
