Sadie
was chosen at two weeks of age, and taken home when she was
seven weeks old, weighing one pound four onces. Her nickname is Sadie
Bug. We lost our twelve-year-old Jack Russell "Tillie" last
summer which left a huge void in our lives. Though Tillie cannot be
replaced, Sadie has become a wonderful addition to our home and a joy
to our lives. She is a fast learner and has mastered everything all
good little dogs must learn. She has the run of the house during the
day and sleeps in her own little room (kennel) at night in our room.
Sadie thinks she is a big guard dog and lets us know when something
isn't just right. Eating is one of her favorite pastimes. In addition
to dog food, she loves carrots, bread, green peppers and popcorn. She
loves water and will dunk her head in her water bowl. She especially
enjoys a romp in the tub after someone has showered. She has more
toys than most children, and stashes them in the basket that her Aunt
Josie
in Alaska sent her. Sadie is now up to a whopping seven pounds and
has brought tremendous happiness to our family.
