We
got Sam one month ago. He came from a litter of thirteen! There was not
a "getting used to" period like we have had in the past
when we acquire a new pet. He seemed to fit right in as if he had
always been part of the family. He is just the sweetest puppy! He is
eager to please and has already learned the sit and speak commands.
He loves to play with our other dog Abby, a mixed boxer breed. Sam is
special to us for many reasons. He has been a godsend for Abby. Abby
was not very sociable but Sam has really brought out the best in her.
Sam likes to play chase with a stick, toy, or whatever he can pick up
off the ground before you do! I sometimes see him playing tug-o-war
with Abby in the back yard. Sam likes to spend as much time as we
will let him indoors but never whines and scratches at the door when
he is put outside. We are still house training him but have seen much
improvement. He is very loving and he likes to "pet" you
when you are petting him. I think he is quite an addition to our
family.
