Angel
came to live with us in July 1998, after her previous owner
died and the executor of the estate turned her over to Animal
Control. She's a pretty smart, very well behaved pug. She loves to go
on walks around the neighborhood, but her favorite thing is taking a
ride in the car. She also does excellent in off-leash dog areas.
Angel's favorite activities include sitting with her people, getting
her tummy rubbed, and sitting on the porch in the sunshine. Even
though she had nine teeth pulled when we adopted her, she enjoys
using her remaining teeth to chew on Nylabones. When she doesn't like
something her people have done, she lets us know by sneezing on us.
So far, our scariest moment was when she had a minor eye injury. Her
eyes are very buggy, so we have to be sure she doesn't put them
places where they shouldn't go. She had a corneal ulcer (a scratch on
her eye) and had to be examined by several different doctors,
including an ophthalmologist for dogs. She behaved very well during
all her visits and her eye healed quickly and completely.
