Compaq
is special because he is so smart. If he is hungry and you
don't feed him when he thinks it is time to eat, he will bring you
his bowl and lay it in front of you, sit down and stare at you until
you feed him. He loves to fetch his tennis ball, but when I have to
study, I tell him, and he lays at my feet waiting for me to get done.
He is also a great door bell. If anyone knocks at the door, you know
it... they know it... even the neighbors down the street know it. I
think he just gets aggravated when someone tries to "invade" his
house. (He lets me live there.) Some one once said to me, "Have you
noticed he follows you everywhere you go?"... I just thought he was
just "always there," but it is true... where ever I go in the house,
he goes too. He does not like for me to be out of his sight when I am
