Kio
came to me at the very young age of four weeks old and weighed
only three pounds. Although I had no desire to have another pet (I
already had a Balinese cat, Ricco), my daughter thought I would be
happy to have a dog. At the time, I was not too happy. Kio is now a
little over two years old and has brought me so much laughter and
love that it is impossible to imagine life without her. The three of
us are quite a family. Kio can't stand when I am on the telephone and
will do everything she can to distract me from chatting. She gets
every toy she owns and either throws them on my lap or jumps up and
down in front of me with one of them in her mouth. Sometimes it is
funny and sometimes not! She has this funny habit if I am sitting on
the couch. She will back up until her rear end is on the couch and
her hind legs are off the floor and sit there, like a person. It is
sooooo funny!
