I
picked Cheyenne from a litter of seven (lucky seven) on day two.
She had four little white socks on her paws and quickly became known
as Socks to most who saw her. She loves to eat flowers since about
three weeks old and still has a spunky attitude when we tell her to
leave them alone. We were not sure how she would like Santa, but her
and Bailey took a liking to him right away. Even chewed his beard a
little, but he was very patient and we got a great picture.
We adopted Bailey back in November of last year. He was about eight
months old when we got him. They were going to put Bailey asleep just
two hours before I found him at the shelter. I didn't know what to
expect from a dog that came from a shelter. You just don't know how
they will be in their new environment, but Cheyenne and Bailey fell
in love from day one. Last winter they loved running and playing in
the snow together. They loved it so much that they told their new
friend, Santa, that they would volunteer to pull his sleigh through
the snow anytime the reindeers need a break.
