Race
is a special dog. He makes me laugh, and keeps my
spirits up. I have a lot of fun training him. He is a
trained service dog, to help people with disabilities. I
use him to do demonstrations, to show people how important
it is for handicapped people to have service dogs to make
their lives easier. He picks thing up, turns the lights
on/off, and opens doors.
He also does obedience, agility, flyball, and he is a
working dog - he herds sheep. He likes herding the best,
it's what he was bred to do. It is not as easy as people
think to train a border collie, they are smarter than you
sometimes! He's the most important of all my dogs to me,
he's the perfect dog.
