Our
dog Tilly is five years old and is a retired racing
greyhound. Tilly lives in Minneapolis, MN with her friends
Jack, also a retired greyhound, and Ava, a basset hound who
never had a job other than family pet. Along with Jack,
Tilly is a great spokesdog for Greyhound Pets of America,
MN chapter. She attends many "Meet & Greets"
where she and Jack, along with their humans, Neil and
Sylvia, tell people the joys of having a retired racing
greyhound. If there is such a thing, Tilly is probably the
perfect dog. Tilly is very friendly and loves to have
people pet her. She has been responsible for many people
deciding on adopting a retired racer. She and her greyhound
"brother" Jack are happy with a six-block walk
once a day and they like to chase each other around our
back yard when it's not iced over like now.
