Sascha
is a Golden Retriever mix and a true beauty. She's nine years
old. She turned nine on 14th of September. She's a really kind and
quiet dog. She loves everybody and has never done any harm to
anybody. Besides, she never runs away, and always stays near us or
the house although we let her walk free. Her favorite thing to do is
lay on the sofa, getting scratched. She's not really into games and
playing, because her hips aren't too good.
We got a cat "Robin" one year ago.
Sascha has given him a warm welcome, and has never chased him, but
she chases all other cats if she gets the opportunity. But Robin lies
beside her and rubs his body to hers, and she doesn't "say a
word". Sascha is a very fine dog and she's also well trained.
She gets the mail (the snail-mail, she hasn't learned to get the
e-mail yet ) and the paper, and she'll carry just about anything,
even plates, glasses, cups and lots of more. If I ask her if she
wants something yummy, she'll give the darndest look. Then I say,
"So, what do you do, then," she'll sit nicely down and hand
out a paw. Isn't that cute?
Last summer we decided to go for a little camping vacation with our
tent. So me and my boyfriend and Sascha drove to Sweden and stayed in
the tent for one and a half weeks. Sascha had never slept in a tent
before, but she was still the same quiet, pleased and satisfied dog.
