Buster
is a two-year-old mutt. We think he is half husky and half
lab. Buster is the family hero! What makes Buster special is that he
is a big hero in my family. One day, while my husband and I were out
of town, my sister in law was watching Buster. While she was taking a
nap, her two year old baby boy climbed over the fences intended to
keep him in his room, and went past Buster and out the front door.
Buster knew that is was wrong for the baby the be out in the street
and he started barking like crazy. Well my sister in law woke up and
got the baby before anything serious happened. Hooray for Buster the
hero!
Buster loves children. He is always patient and lays down for them to
pet him. Buster is the most obedient dog I have ever had. His
favorite things are chasing squirrels and ducks (don't tell him, but
I don't think he will ever catch one), He also loves to swim all year
long. Buster's favorite thing to do in the snow is to decapitate snow
men. For some reasons he doesn't like the head part of the snow men.
Buster is the best dog in the world.
Buster loves to spend time at our cottage in Canada where he can
swim, chase black snakes and ride in the boat. He and his cousin, a
black lab names Prince, love to roll around in the dirt when they are
up there, and then jump in the lake to cool off. We have a diving
board into the lake and he loves to jump in after us off the diving
board. Buster is the greatest dog I could have ever asked for. He
licks my tears when I am sad and he gets up on two legs and dances
when I am happy. He loves to snuggle with me in the morning and never
wants to get out of bed. He is my best friend.
