Cousteau
is a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier. Cousteau is special
because his name fits him perfectly! We are avid scuba divers which
was originally why the name was chosen but he made it his own when we
put in a swimming pool! Every day when the weather is appropriate he
can be found jumping into the pool to retrieve his favorite toy, a
red hedgehog! He dives off of the side of the pool and retrieves
whatever is thrown and swims to the steps and climbs out. He will do
this for hours on end. When he gets tired we put a small inflatable
boat in the pool and he will float around. He has learned if he
bounces up and down that he can create bubbles which he loves to bite!
Cousteau knows at least 40 words which we have listed over time. He
has three cats and a Schnauzer cousin whom he plays with. He turned
three in May and is our "little boy!"
