This
is Jackie. She is a Golden Retriever and Chow mix. Not sure when
she was born, but she is about two years old. She's special to us
because she was given to us a wedding present..!! :-)
We got her one week before getting married. We spoil her as if she
was our child and she knows it. She loves people, but she gets very
jealous if other dogs are around. We have just recently been able to
get her to fetch a ball and bring it back to us. Previously she'd run
after the ball and just look at it. Some of her tricks include
"give me your paw" and "high five." Jackie is
mesmerized by our bird,
Ripken.
Whenever the bird is off his stand and walking
around the ground, Jackie will follow him nose to beak. Ripken for
some reason does not mind Jackie at all. I've seen a couple of times
when Jackie is licking Ripken. Jackie is definitely an inside dog.
And if it rains, she will refuse to go outside even if she needs to
go. But to her credit she has an iron bladder. :-)
