Queeney's
full name is Queeney Flirt. Ever since she was a puppy,
she's always loved to watch me when I'm getting ready to go out,
putting on makeup and doing my hair, and she looks as if she'd like
to do the same. Then she disappears and waits by the door because she
wants to go out too. And whenever I can, I take her with me. She
likes to wear bows, barrettes and anything that'll make her look
feminine and pretty. She even has a flirty way of walking, she
swings her rump from side to side as if she's modeling in a fashion
show. Queeney loves to pose for the camera and she loves acting too.
A few years ago, she appeared in a TV ad for a local Sears campaign.
She was very serious about her job and she didn't have to repeat her
scenes as much as the human actors! Every time people saw her on the
street, they would ask if she was the dog on the Sears TV spot and
she loved all the attention.
Besides being a flirt, she's also a great watch dog, even though
she only weighs five pounds! She lets me know when there's someone at
the door or approaching it, even before they knock or ring the bell.
I live in a building and she knows when I come home from work. She
barks all the way from the third floor and she doesn't stop until I
open the door, then she greets me with so much happiness that she
makes my stress fade away. When I'm watching TV, she cuddles with me
and likes to eat popcorn too. She knows when I'm sick, when I'm sad
and she gets excited when I'm happy. She's always following me around
the house and if I get up in the middle of the night, she gets up
too. We just seem to have this strong bond and I'm very attached to
her. She's a very special dog and she's the Queen of my heart.
