Hi
My name is Shadow. I bet I look real innocent here, huh? I was
rescued from the ASPCA in April, my biological parents are Lab and
Lab/Shepherd, so I guess I am a lab mix. I was taken in by my parents
Dawn and Steve and boy, do they love me! I give them a lot of back
talk, though. Love to answer back.
I was housetrained at 12 weeks and amazingly knew sit, come, stay,
down, and heel all buy 17 weeks (those things I was quite stubborn
about though, I did it when I wanted too). I am proud to say I have
grown up and now I listen to mom and dad, they take me to Petsmart
once a week to buy a new toy. I Love to play go for long bike rides
and Car rides are #1 - they're the best! I went to Washington, DC
last week on my very first vacation.
Shadow is a very intelligent dog, often making me wonder is he a dog?
He is very spoiled, he has learned a lot very quickly from tricks to
obedience training. Shadow also completed his Canine Good Citizen
test at nine months old, and loves going to the dog park on Sundays and
to the dog beach during the week. He loves to play and lets every one
know how he thinks he's the greatest, he has the top of the world
attitude. He needs lots of exercise to keep him happy and out of
trouble :)
So far, Shadow knows all the basics with signals with added things
like high five, paw, feet up, hugs, stand, and is now learning to
pray and wipe his nose. He thrives on learning. But it's all a matter
of how much time you put in dogs. We love him and wish all dogs could
live the life he has, this world would be a better place :)
