This
is my two-year-old Siberian Husky, Juno (aka Junebug). She is
the most wonderful, beautiful, loving, adorable and adored scamp of a
dog we've ever met. What a character, what a personality, what a
handful! Famous for her affection, she would kiss/lick you all over
your face, feet, hands, if you let her, whether she knows you or not,
friend or foe. Even though she possesses that typical Husky trait of
"independence" (which we at times mistook for deafness),
she will come for a treat, and she especially adores carrots and
figs. She likes to pick the figs up after they drop from our tree and
bury them for the future. She also has a little "garden
plot" she digs in - it is hopeless to plant grass there. She
loves to jump in the pond to cool off in the summer. She was a
valentine present to me, and what a great addition to our family.
Hera our eight-year-old Shepherd/coyote mix loves her too, even
though she's such a rambunctious teenager. We can't imagine life
without her.
