Droopy
is not really a pet, he's been classified by his family as
part human. He's very loving and warm and always loves giving
"Droopy hugs." He's lived with us for seven years now, the
first two years of his life he was abused by being tied outside with
little food and water. His current family felt so bad for him, they
convinced his old owners to give him to them, so they brought him
home and nurtured him back to health. He's giving back that love
100-fold and now is quite the happy puppy.
Droopy loves all of his stuffed animals and gets grumpy if anyone but
him plays with them. But then again it's hard to call him grumpy when
his tail is wagging happily while he growls softly at you for
touching his toys. One of his toys is his little "baby" and
he cleans and takes care of it, it's quite cute. He does this with
any other animals, I once had a guinea pig who had babies, he had to
go in and check on the babies every night before going to bed to make
sure they were ok.
Droopy has made our life better in every way possible - we only hope
we can continue to return that love to him.
