Darby
is my special buddy and she goes practically everywhere I do.
(I should've named her Shadow!) Her favorite pastime is chasing
bunnies in the back yard, although I really think she's trying to
herd them. She's a very quick learner and has earned degrees in Puppy
K-garten, Beginning Puppy, Beginning Agility and Intermediate Agility
classes (ha ha -- no formal "titles" yet, other than having
earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate). The communication is so
strong between us. There are some words you just shouldn't let slip
unless you're ready to pay the consequences (like "cookie,"
"ride," and "walk"). And who can't help but melt
when you look in her big dark brown eyes? There are a lot more things
that are special about her, but most of all, there's a very special
bond between us that just amazes me. I love her!
