Penny
is very special. She is my very first dachshund that I acquired
as a puppy. She is the most loving dachshund and so very sweet. What
made her particularly special is that she is such a good sport. For
Halloween, I dressed her up as a "Doggie Bag" using a bag with
handles around her body with the upper sides of the bag stapled for a
snug fit. She was so embarrassed at first, kept looking at me like I
just condemned her to the animal shelter, but after all the attention
she was getting because of her unique costume, she proudly paraded
around the circle with her head held high. A tootsie roll beat her
out of first place, but she won third place!
