This
is our Rat Terrier, Abbey. She is three years old. This is her
first litter. Six boys! Her most favorite thing, of course, is to
hunt. She has 35 acres in southern Oregon to run on and catch her
daily fill of mice, squirrels, lizards, grasshoppers and whatever.
The next most important thing in her life is to go for
"rides." Car, truck, tractor, three-wheeler, she likes them
all, as long as they have wheels (and one of us is driving it). To
sleep, she prefers under the covers when cold. Anywhere else on the
bed when not. She does not like her toenails trimmed. Showers are
okay. A true "RCA" dog she is, she howls at certain songs
on the radio and at the "Jeopardy" theme. She is a very
important part of our life.
