This
is Sam. He is a three year old male Golden Retriever who lives
in Massachusetts. Sam was adopted from a shelter after his first
family moved. Sam, as you can tell, is very good natured and
tolerant. This is his impression of a Polish Grandmother, we call him
"Yadwega Chalinski" in this picture.
Besides entertaining his human companions in this way, Sam is the
protective little brother to two sisters, twelve-year-old Cory
(Golden) and fourteen-year-old Molly (Rottweiler). He also is a big
help when his family does foster care for other abandoned shelter
dogs while they are waiting for a permanent home. Sam plays with all
the foster dogs, so far, mostly Rottweilers and Pit Bulls and they
all love him! He teaches them to sit and fetch and wait for cookies.
We all really love him and cannot understand how his previous family
could move without him. (But lucky for us, they did!)
