Holly
Bush is about five or six months old. She is a mix of
(we think) Lab and Golden Retriever. Holly is very special because my
husband and I had been looking for a puppy for quite some time, and
couldn't find one that fit our personality, lifestyle, or budget. We
decided to go to an Animal Hospital (FMA animal clinic) and check out
their bulletin board for free puppies. There weren't any free puppies
on the bulletin board that day but Holly had been brought in just a
few days ago. The animal hospital had her there because they were
trying to nurse her back to health. She had been brought in having
several fleas and terribly malnourished, physically abused, and very
weak. We took one look at her and knew that she was the puppy for us.
Even though she was very skinny and could hardly walk she was still
adorable and very loving. We took her home the next day! Now Holly
weighs around 31 pounds and is just like any other normal puppy. She
loves to play in the snow and chew on her bone and take long naps in
front of our fireplace. Also the Animal Hospital helps us pay for all
of her doctor bills and shots since we adopted her from their clinic.
Things have really worked out great for me and my husband and Holly
too!
