Kapu
loves human interaction more than being with other dogs. He's
the most affectionate dog I've ever known. My husband and I make it a
point to play, train and bond with him every day. His response to
this routine has been that of such love toward humans. What make him
special is his personality. So many people have told me they can see
it in his face and expressions. You always know what he's thinking.
When you talk to him, he tilts his head way to the left and then to
the right trying to understand every word. He follows us from room to
room and from outside the house to inside the house just so he can be
with us all the time. Some funny habits are:
1) Sucking on his Vermont Chew Man (a fake lambskin stuffed toy -
pacifies him for hours.)
2) Sneaking up on you in a dark room and giving a big "boof" (I swear
I can see him smile as I try to calm myself down from the scare.)
3) Power kisses you if you've been gone a long time (feels like a
sander taking off a couple layers of your cheek!)
4) Makes googoolie eyes at all other drivers on the road or walking
on the street when he's in the car for a ride (just adores people!)
5) Follows insects. Doesn't hurt or eat them, just follows (trots
after flying ones with tail held high!)
I hope you enjoy his expressive face. It's saying "OK, Ma. How's
this? Do I get a cookie for sitting this still?"
