I
have a two and a half year old golden retriever named Abby. She,
along with the rest of her family (Kevin and Ellen) live in South
Bend, Indiana. Abby is the joy of our lives and is currently being
trained to become part of a pet therapy program. Abby began amazing
us right from the beginning. She was potty trained by eleven weeks
old, and learned all basic commands by fourteen weeks of age. I
believe that Abby literally understands everything that's said to
her. We never have to repeat a command twice, and she listens so
carefully to other people's conversations, she usually can figure out
what's being talked about and act accordingly (just giving her
two-cents worth, I'm sure)! She truly is a marvelous dog and we don't
know what we'd do without her.
