Mable
is special because she had a rough start to life. She was out
on the streets as a stray until she was picked up by the Cuyahoga
County Kennel at approximately three months of age. She had a lump on
her left front leg that suggested she had broken the leg a while
back. Mable's an All-American (basically a hound mix, possibly a
Whippet Mix).
I had been scouting out the kennel residents every other day for just
over a month when I finally came across the little puppy. Several
days later when she was officially up for adoption I took her home on
May 8, 1999. The photo was taken the day after, she's grown a lot
since then.
Mable is also special because she is a perfect companion for me. She
is very smart. She is always ready to play. She has lots of energy &
loves to run and jump (I'll soon begin agility training with her).
Plus she loves to play with toys, so I get to spoil her. She can
knock you down to soak you in kisses. Plus maybe in the future she
can be a volunteer therapy dog since she absolutely loves people!
