Jakie
is just a few weeks old in the small picture. She's grown a bit since
then. I'm not sure of her lineage but I believe there's some Corgi there. She
will be nine years old this June but still has the energy of her puppyhood. Jakie
was originally named Jake untill a friend pointed out that our little "guy" was
actually a girl! We still get teased about that. Jakie has a "sister" named
Winfield who is also a very special little dog who we adopted from the SPCA.
Jakie loves to run in the woods and to swim whenever the weather is warm enough.
Heaven to her is our friend's cabin in the woods which is located near a large
pond. She is strong willed and doesn't always listen when she should. She sure
loves life though, and I sure love her!
