Halloween
was so much fun last year. I made a pumpkin costume for my
dog, Annie, and she looked so cute. Annie is my best buddy. She is a
poodle/cocker spaniel mix and will turn three years old in January. I
adopted her from the Saskatoon SPCA about a year and a half ago. She
got the name Annie as she was my little "orphan annie."
Annie just loves being with people and is definitely prefers to be in
the house with her human family. She loves nothing better than laying
her head on your lap and having a big nap. She also likes being
outside but on one condition; you must go out with her and chase her
around and act like a goof:-)
In the summer she enjoys chasing sticks in the lake/river. Annie has
tons of energy which she uses to wrestle with her pal Zack, our
eight-month-old sheltie mix. Sometimes she gets mad at him when he tugs
on her ears and she just wants to cuddle with her human mommy but
most of the time they have a blast rolling around the house. Annie
has to sleep on the bed with her head near yours and her body tucked
in to yours. She is the best dog in the whole world! (my opinion,
haha) When I come home from work and she is about to bust something
from all the excitement of having me home it's the best feeling ever.
