This
is my dog, her name is Aurora, she's a four years old Belgian
Tervuren. She lives with me, my wife and my other two dogs in beautiful
downtown Burbank California. What makes Aurora special? Aurora is a
rescue. We filled out a form with Belgian Tervuren rescue, and within
two weeks Aurora's foster dad called us. Within days we were at LA
Airport picking her up from her long flight from Ames, Iowa. Aurora was
terrified of everything - you couldn't stand up without her running out
of the room shaking. She must have been terribly abused. It turns out
she was a puppy mill "mommy," living in a cage all her life doing
nothing but having one litter of puppies after another. We've been
administering appropriate medication for her condition - regular doses
of love and attention. We've had her now for nearly six months and I'm
happy to say she's now a calm and loving part of the family. A happy
ending!
