This
our dog Phoebe (aka Phoebe "cakes," Phoebus, Fleabus, Crazy
Phoeb, - the list goes on!). The general consensus seems to be that she is
part Border Collie, there's no telling what else. She lives in Atlanta, GA and
we adopted her from the Atlanta Humane Society. She just celebrated her first
birthday last week.
Phoebe entered our lives when we adopted her on the same day my fiance
proposed. Our lives have never been the same since! Everything is fascinating
and new to her...I wish I had that mentality sometimes! Because she is such a
happy-go-lucky dog, you can't help but smile when she's around. She is
constantly making us laugh because of her amusing antics. Here are some
examples. She loves to catch tennis balls thrown at her head just about as
hard as you can throw. Each time she is taken outside, she deems it necessary
to return with a carefully selected stick. At least three times a week, she
runs around the apartment (or chases her tail) at mach speed for around three
minutes at a time. The list goes on and on! She is a very smart dog and learns
things very quickly. She truly is a wonderful playmate, friend and confidant.
Don't get me wrong, she isn't perfect all of the time, but look at that face!
