Our
pet is special because she has become a part of the family. She is
obedient and loves to play! Bailey likes to lay right next to you on
the floor at night and in this picture, she was "helping the Easter
Bunny!"
Bailey is a cuddly dog. She enjoys laying on your lap, (which she is too big to
do now since she is a lab!) If you lay on the floor with her she will lay
right beside you, close enough that at least some part of her body is touching
you. If I'm up sitting on the coach, she will lay her head on top of my feet
since she can't come up on the coach. She has a stuffed monkey that she
absolutely loves to play with. When she bites it hard enough, the
monkey doesn't squeak like most toys, it actually gives out a real monkey cry.
Bailey also enjoys eating our balls. She has devoured six baseballs, four
soccer balls, two soft balls, one football, one tennis ball, and three nerf
balls. She loves to play soccer with me though and since there is one ball she
hasn't popped, she is careful with it so she can play with it. The ball is
rough enough that she can get her teeth into it and carry it away, forcing me
to chase her. Bailey can also shake hands, dance with me, and although we
can't get her to do it on command, she can wink her eye. Seriously, we can't
get her to do it when we want her to but if you watch her for a little while
you'll see her eye wink.
