Despite
being a working dog, Grendl is a real couch potato. She wanders from
couch to couch and sometimes can be found on the bed. She loves to recline on
the sofa like a princess while watching what's happening out on the street,
and she dozes in and out of sleep. When she's up, she loves to catch her ball,
go for walks, bark at birds, squirrels, cats, and poodles, run circles around
the shed, and play with the neighbor dog. She also likes it when someone kicks
her water bowl outside; this gives her the opportunity to behave like an
attack dog, running with fur raised while barking ferociously to intervene.
All in all she's a real softie, a big warm lug with a love for children and
herding children. Everyone loves her companionship, even people who are
generally afraid of dogs.
