Sadie
is the sunshine of our home! We got her when she was just seven
weeks old, after we had recently lost another beloved dog. She was just
a bundle of fur, but now she is over 50 pounds, and getting bigger all
the time. She has more personality than any dog we've ever had, and her
playfulness and enthusiasm really brighten up our lives. She is smart,
so she's easy to train, but her sense of humor keeps us laughing. When
she first wakes up, she's groggy and seems almost in a trance, but when
she's awake and active, she bounces around like a kangaroo! Our
thirteen-year-old Brittany, Addey, isn't much of a playmate for her, but
Sadie doesn't give up trying to get her to chase, tug, or just get
rowdy. She's finally realizing how good belly rubs feel, and she'll
grunt with pleasure while her back leg goes crazy! Although she's only
been with us less than six months, she has made herself a central part
of our household, and we wouldn't trade her for anything!
