This
is my black and white spotted Dalmatian named Spade-Dog. Spade-Dog
is a seven-year-old male and resides in Old Lyme, CT. During the day,
Spade-Dog goes to work with his master at a perennial nursery farm where
he has over 55 acres to run. Spade-Dog requires a tremendous amount of
exercise and loves to run around the plant farm.
While at work Spade-Dog enjoys greeting workers, playing with the
neighbors dogs, and bringing home his weekly paycheck. Following work,
Spade-Dog returns home where he enjoys protecting our house, eating, and
relaxing. On the weekends Spade-Dog loves to go out on our small motor
boat where he can enjoy the sites, smells, and the water. He likes to
stand proud on the bow of our boat and point his snout in the air as the
wind blows back his ears. When Spade-Dog does this, we often refer to
him as our boat's "hood ornament."
Spade-Dog is a hard worker at the plant nursery and his hard work
doesn't end there. When Spade-Dog comes home he continues his work ethic
by guarding our house. Between Spade-Dog's good looks, hard work,
persistence, dedication, and love he should be Dog of the Day!
