This
is a picture of our dog Fletcher at nine weeks old. At first my
husband was really nervous about having a dog around and in the house,
but Fletcher has been such an incredible dog! He is playful, cuddly, and
very loyal. Best of all, Fletcher is a fast learner!! He is now fourteen
weeks old and can sit, kiss, lie down, fetch his toys, speak, and
(slowly but surely) come.
I think we knew Fletcher was really special when I put him outside the
first morning we had him. All of a sudden when I went to get the
newspaper, he ran to it, picked it up, and brought it right to the front
door - and he was only eight weeks old!! He still gets the paper every
day - Sunday is sometimes a challenge for him, so we help him with the
Sunday paper. He is definitely a Retriever! He is such a wonderful
companion to have around and is always happy to see us. We couldn't
imagine our life without him.
