Freebie
is very special to our family because she was a
"freebie." A friend of the family found her on the side of the
road about eleven years ago. My Mom woke me up first thing in the
morning to show me her, and I instantly fell in love. It was rough at
first with her stealing our shoes and clothing items and hiding them in
the back yard, and her periodically running away, only to find her a few
blocks away, or sometimes she would come home on her own. But she has
turned into a faithful, loving companion for all of us. She does not do
any elaborate tricks but certainly knows how to get your attention. She
goes crazy at the phrases "want to go out side" or "want
a biscuit," and hates the phrase "want a bath." She is
very special to me because she makes me feel special, and I am glad that
she was found those eleven years ago.
