Rosie
is a sassy little terrier/"Nevada" dog mix who loves to
bake dog biscuits! She even authored a book, Rosie's Recipes - Delicious
Dog Biscuit Recipes Taste Tested By Our Best Friends. Rosie is about eight
or nine years old and lives in Reno, Nevada with her mom, Michele and three
furry feline friends: Bocce, Tootsie and Linus and three canine friends,
Taj and Puzzle, afghan hounds and Sara, the silly saluki. Rosie's
favorite past time is hiking and splashing around in streams. Her second
favorite past time is playing in the blankets with Puzzle first thing
every morning! Rosie was proud to represent the pets of Reno as the
official mascot of the 1998 City of Reno Pet parade. Rosie was also
honored as the winner of the Petsmart "Make Your Dog A Star"
photo contest in August 1998. Rosie even paw-o-graphed her book when
generous people made a donation of pet food or treats at Barnes and
Noble in December.
