Howdy!
General Beauregard is my name, but people call me Beau. The only
one who calls me Beauregard is my mom, and that's when I've been bad.
(From my cute photo, you can tell that never happens.) I'm a
five-year-old Basset Hound from New Orleans but my mom rescued me from a
mean, old woman in North Louisiana two years ago who kept me locked in
kennel I had no one to play with, no food and water for days at a time
and ... I didn't even know my name.
I was a skinny 35 pounds when Mom saved me. Today, I am a slender
60-pound heartbreaker. All the women tell me that. My biggest hardship
in life is deciding what sofa to sleep on. Sometimes, I even let my
sherpa help me up the stairs so I can sleep on Mom's bed. I also just
learned how to open the fridge, so I am living it up! Life's pretty
rotten, but so am I!
