JoJo
is an eight-year-old Queensland Blue Heeler. They are a breed of
Australian cattle dogs that started in the late 1800's in the outback of
Australia. There are many different breeds that were crossed to
establish Blue Heelers but the main genetic trait came from the dingo,
the wild dogs of the Outback. He is very smart, absolutely loves his
family and will lay down his life to protect us. We use a low voltage
hot wire around the top of his fenced yard, but he has managed to
determine the time in between electric pulses (a micro second) and
grabs the wire and pulls it down, then over the fence he goes but never
leaves the property.
