Sadie
was acquired through the ads in the paper, dog $25... I was
looking for a companion dog for my Lhasa Apso Mix, that I got from the
SPCA and had become a couch potato (so to speak). Well Sadie was in a
household with a little boy and a baby. So she was not outside nor for
walks and was too much trouble. (She has been with us now for a year).
She was matted so much we had to have her groomed and almost shaved, she
had not had her shots in three years either. Now she gets vets and grooming
care regularly. Funny how that goes, she is a gem to us. We have a large
back yard, so she is allowed her freedom of the yard and house actually.
And she had become a wonderful friend and companion to our Muffin of the
same age. Now she does play many tricks on us, and keeps us all lively.
So it was a Win-Win situation for both of us. She got outside for daily
walks and has a yard and dog companion and a loving home and never is
too much bother anymore. Just a Happy dog, patriotic too for her
Birthday Celebration...
